The value of our work is measured by its impact on the lives of the young people in our community.

The programme has been designed to pro-actively target and engage with young people who are located within areas where the environment is one that is viewed as having limited opportunities or equally there is statistically a high risk of youngsters partaking in less positive undertakings such criminal activities etc.

Charity representatives actively speak with both young people and parents in these areas to gather a solid understanding of the key issues and develop solutions that will benefit the community and its members in the long term. Adverse childhood experiences such as the loss of a parent or close friend, household criminality, exposure to domestic abuse, substance abuse or bullying, along with health and learning difficulties are issues which are commonplace in these environments. It is too often the case that young people are left to become a product of the opportunity poor environment in which they are raised, rather than being inspired and assisted in taking an active role in improving their opportunities.
