GRANT GIVING AND FUNDRAISING PARTNERS

At URBOND, our Youth Development Programme has been designed to support young people and provide them with the best opportunity to fulfil their potential. We actively engage with young people in our community who are located in areas with limited opportunities, or where there is statistically a high risk of youngsters partaking in negative activities, such as criminal activities and anti-social behaviour.

Through this essential programme:

  • We provide a safe, and inclusive environment which is conducive to the development of young people.
  • We support participants in achieving the best educational/employment opportunities via mentorship and career path guidance.
  • We promote engaging activities which foster both mental and physical well-being.
  • We support the young people of Portsmouth and help them become a force for good for the community and the wider city.

We are on a mission through our Youth Development Programme, ensuring the youth of our city are not left behind. That they are engaged and learning. That they get opportunities. That they actively work towards supporting the community and the environment. That they develop vital skills. And that they get all the help they need, whatever their background, home life, circumstances or needs.

All young people are welcome at URBOND. Always.

How you can help

Fundraising is central to enabling us to carry out our vital work and ensuring the future of Portsmouth, and the surrounding areas, are supported. Whether it’s providing classes where they can learn. Instruments for our music sessions. Activities for our youth clubs. Mentors who can support children struggling with their mental health in one-to-one sessions. Nutritious meals for young people who would otherwise go without. Or qualified coaches to run our sessions to keep young people engaged, your funding really does make a difference.

Unrestricted grants and donations have a huge impact on the work we can carry out. If you can help us give the gift of education through a grant or funding partnership, we really would love to hear from you. We’ll happily provide any information you require, and, in return, can offer you:

  • Updates and detailed reports on the work we have carried out through the grant or/and funding partnership, which show detailed outputs and case studies showcasing those we have supported and lives which have been transformed;
  • Invitations to join and updates from our volunteers’ trip to Guinea, which happens at least once per annum;
  • Invitations to exclusive events, such as our annual charity ball and some of our keynote speeches and addresses, as well as the opportunity to see some of the other incredible work URBOND does internationally.
